Free WV CDL Tanker Vehicles Practice Test 2024

Have you ever wanted to drive one of those tanker trucks you saw as a kid? Some of the biggest ones can haul up to 11,000 gallons of liquids such as milk, water, fertilizers, gasoline and even jet fuel. Because tankers have a high center of gravity, maintaining stable control can be a challenge only the most professional drivers can handle.

If you want to become a tanker driver in West Virginia, it’s time to fulfill your dream by applying for a Tank Vehicles (N) endorsement. Once added to your Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), this endorsement will allow you to drive vehicles designed to transport liquids or gases in a tank or tanks with an individual rated capacity of more than 119 gallons and a combined total capacity of 1,000 gallons or more.

As you study the official 2024 CDL manual (West Virginia CDL Handbook 2024), you’ll learn the basic theory of commercial driving. While there is a lot of experience to be gained with hands-on practice, you’ll need to pass a 20-question Tank Vehicles knowledge test first. We will help you take the first step towards becoming a successful tanker driver in West Virginia by offering a series of CDL Tanker Vehicles Endorsement practice tests.

Updated for December 2024, this tool has helped many students pass the official exam on their first attempt. Each practice test consists of 20 questions based on the CDL manual, which you can use as a reference during your training sessions. Designed to closely resemble the test environment at the DMV location, these practice tests can also be used for educational purposes.

Your time is precious, and you should invest it wisely. When you train with our practice tests, you’re also developing a better understanding of the subject. A helpful automated assistant is available during each training session, ready to provide useful insight at your request. You can ask for hints that will nudge you in the right direction without revealing the correct answer. If you have a hard time understanding the detailed explanation provided for every question, you can ask our AI coach for clarification.
